Florida Medically Supervised Weight Loss
Medically Supervised Weight Loss Package
Provider supervised semaglutide and tirzepatide protocols for eligible Florida patients. Programs are pay as you go, with startup labs, provider visits every 3 months, medication supply, shipping, sterile supplies, and ongoing support through your private secure patient portal.
Provider Visits Included
Follow up visits every 3 months are built into your GLP-1 care.
Shipping Included
Medication supply pricing includes shipping, so there is no separate delivery surprise.
No Contracts
No monthly commitment and no long term contract for GLP-1 programs.
GLP-1 Qualification
Patients new to GLP-1 therapy must have a BMI of 27 or higher with a qualifying comorbidity, or a BMI of 30 or higher without a comorbidity. Patients currently on a GLP-1 with a BMI below 27 will be evaluated for maintenance dosing if eligible.
Why Weight Loss Matters
A healthier weight can change more than the scale
Medically supervised weight loss is about improving health markers, daily function, and long term risk, not just losing pounds. Even modest weight loss can help improve blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol patterns, sleep quality, mobility, and metabolic health.
Weight loss results vary. GLP-1 care works best when medication is paired with nutrition, hydration, protein intake, movement, and provider monitoring.

How We Make the Difference
This is medical care, not a quick questionnaire
Balance Point Hormone Health does not approve every patient just to sell medication. Medically supervised weight loss begins with health history, eligibility review, appropriate labs, safety screening, and medical provider judgment. If GLP-1 treatment is not clinically appropriate, we will not prescribe it.
Startup Labs
GLP 1 startup labs are $60 and are updated yearly. Metabolic, thyroid, lipid, glucose, insulin, and blood count markers are reviewed before a Monthly Protocol is prescribed.
Slow Titration
Doses are increased gradually when appropriate, helping limit side effects while your provider reviews progress and tolerability.
Trusted Pharmacy Partners
Balance Point Hormone Health currently uses trusted compounding pharmacies such as ReviveRx, Empower, and Belmar, selected for licensed pharmacy operations, documented quality controls, and USP standards where applicable.
BUD Standards
Beyond Use Dates are assigned under USP standards and begin when compounding starts. Supplies are structured as one vial per month.
Why BUD safety matters
Some low-price programs may try to stretch medication by sending larger multi-use vials intended to last longer. That approach can create two concerns: the vial may be used too far into its assigned Beyond Use Date window, and the savings may come from stretching product duration instead of following a more conservative safety workflow.
We currently use trusted compounding pharmacies such as ReviveRx, Empower, and Belmar. These partners are selected for licensed pharmacy operations, documented quality controls, USP standards where applicable, testing procedures, and appropriate handling standards for temperature sensitive medications.
Balance Point Hormone Health structures GLP-1 care around one vial per month to better align with those safety expectations. Our pricing is built around clinical oversight, patient support, and fair service fees rather than trying to be the lowest-cost option.
We are a licensed and insured Florida telehealth practice operating under Florida law, Florida Department of Health expectations, provider standards of care, and applicable pharmacy compounding and patient safety requirements.
This is a patient friendly summary of our pharmacy selection standards. For official pharmacy policies, current documentation, and pharmacy specific questions, patients should contact the dispensing pharmacy directly.
Required GLP-1 Lab Panel
Before GLP-1 medication is prescribed, we review labs that help screen metabolic health, thyroid status, blood sugar control, lipids, insulin response, and general safety markers. Recent outside labs may be accepted when all required markers are included and dated within 6 months.
Benefits of Supervised Care
Weight loss should improve health, not just the number on the scale
Major clinical trials and manufacturer data for GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 medications show meaningful average weight reduction when treatment is paired with lifestyle counseling. More importantly, medically supervised weight loss can help patients track the health markers that often move with weight, including waist size, blood pressure, blood sugar trends, cholesterol patterns, insulin resistance, inflammation risk, sleep quality, and daily mobility.
Metabolic Health
Labs help monitor glucose, lipids, liver markers, kidney markers, thyroid status, and other safety signals while weight changes.
Heart Risk Factors
Clinical studies have reported improvements in cardiometabolic risk factors such as waist circumference, blood pressure, and lipid measures in many patients.
Sleep and Mobility
Reducing excess weight may support better breathing during sleep, less joint strain, improved stamina, and easier movement through daily life.
Safer Dose Progression
We favor slow titration instead of rushing dose increases. Provider oversight helps adjust dosing, review side effects, protect hydration and protein intake, and keep treatment aligned with your health history.
A complete lifestyle approach matters
Starting GLP-1 care is not only about seeing the scale change. The goal is a safer, healthier weight loss journey that supports long term metabolic health. Consistent nutrition, appropriate calorie intake, hydration, regular movement, and a realistic exercise plan are strongly recommended throughout treatment.
Protein intake and resistance training are especially important to help maintain lean muscle while weight is coming down. This is one reason supervised care matters: your provider can help monitor progress, tolerance, side effects, labs, and whether the plan still supports your overall health.
What patients may feel on GLP-1 therapy
Less hunger and fewer cravings
GLP-1 medications slow stomach emptying and act on appetite signaling. Many patients feel full sooner, think about food less often, or notice fewer cravings.
Mild nausea or stomach changes
Nausea, constipation, reflux, or loose stools can happen, especially when starting or increasing dose. Smaller meals, hydration, slower eating, and slow dose titration often help limit these effects.
Lower appetite is not the same as not eating
Some negative experiences happen when calories, fluids, fiber, or protein drop too low. The goal is controlled intake, not starvation. This is why nutrition guidance matters.
Muscle loss can be reduced with the right plan
Any weight loss can include some lean mass loss. Protein intake and resistance training help protect muscle, strength, and metabolism during treatment.
Energy can change during adjustment
Some patients feel lighter and more in control quickly. Others feel tired if they are under eating, dehydrated, or losing weight too aggressively. Your plan should be adjusted around how you feel.
Support matters when side effects show up
Side effects do not always mean the medication is wrong, but they should not be ignored. Provider oversight helps decide whether to hold, slow, adjust, or continue treatment.
Individual results vary. Treatment is prescribed only when clinically appropriate, and benefits depend on medication selection, nutrition, activity, adherence, tolerance, and baseline health.
